National Tell Your Story Challenge. Sharing stories is what unites people. Sharing myths brought together past communities and now story times on social media carry on that legacy. Sharing your story can bring tears, laughter, or smiles that bring people together.

Sinclair Clubs & Organizations is allowing students to share their stories in the National Write Your Story Challenge. Students are encouraged to write a story about a significant time in their life in 500 words or less. Submissions will be accepted March 14-17 via a link on the Sinclair College Student Clubs & Organizations Hub on eLearn.

Winners will receive Sinclair swag and a feature in the Clarion. The story can be about anything you choose. When you got your favorite pet when you climbed Mount Everest or the time you tried your favorite sauce. Any significant moment, big or small, is welcome. All students are welcome to submit their stories.

It may be tricky to figure out where to submit your story. Below is a step-by-step tutorial on accessing the Sinclair College Student Clubs & Organizations Hub on eLearn. Once you submit your link to the Hub, the submission process will be a breeze.

1. Go to your eLearn portal. (elearn.sinclair.edu)

2. Click the “Discover” button at the top of the page.

3. Type in “Sinclair College Student Clubs & Organizations Hub.”

4. Click on the link and then click “Enroll in Course.”

5. Once you are enrolled, click on “Open Course.”

6. From there, you can see all the events and will be ready to submit your story from March 14-17.

Your story has the power to unite people and get them talking, so do not be afraid to share it. This challenge allows writers and creators of all kinds to tell their stories as they see fit. Whether it is a minute-by-minute documentation of the event or a story full of symbolism, the goal is to tell your story.
