Sixty to 70% of Sinclair College’s teaching staff is made up of adjunct faculty. These professors teach part-time and often work in the early mornings, evenings and weekends, meeting the demands of the diverse college population.
On July 23, the Adjunct Faculty Support Office began its move to the second floor of Building 7.
The new location will serve both adjunct faculty and students by allowing a more accessible location at the heart of Sinclair’s campus. This new space is close to Human Resources, The Tartan Marketplace, the Sinclair library and the Campus Store.

“This relocation is a part of Sinclair’s ongoing effort to optimize campus space while enhancing the services and resources available to adjunct faculty,” said Jennifer Kostic, Sinclair’s senior vice president of administration.
The college is continuing to consider how campus space can be better used.
Moving the Adjunct Faculty Support Office near Human Resources will encourage collaboration and communication, and gives faculty easier access to employee services during business hours. This will allow for expedited onboarding, payroll, and access to faculty needs.

“This move is intended to create a more accessible, convenient and supportive environment for adjunct faculty working on campus,” said Kostic.
With the move in progress, Sinclair students and adjunct faculty can look forward to a more efficient and centrally located work environment.
