The International Peace Museum located at 10 N. Ludlow Street hosted the opening to their “Seasons For Non Violence” event on Jan. 30. The event lasts until April 4 and spans the 64 calendar days between Mahatma Gandhi’s assassination and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr’s.
Self defined as a “grass roots campaign,” the museum seeks to promote and spread the principles of non-violence and to create a more compassionate and understanding society. The event hosted keynote speakers, artist talks and more.
