“Game of Thrones” fans won’t have long to wait for their next fix of Westerosi action as a trailer for the next spinoff in George Martin’s world has already hit the net. A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms will follow in the footsteps of House of the Dragon when it premiers next year by further expanding on the lore of the author’s acclaimed grimdark setting.
Despite “House of the Dragon”’s second season ending recently, HBO Max has already teed up another deep dive into Targaryen history for 2025. That will come in the form of “A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms”, which will chronicle the adventures of Duncan the Tall and his squire Egg, both of whom would be legendary figures long before Robert’s Rebellion.
The short clip shows-off Peter Claffey as Dunc and offers a first glimpse of Dexter Sol Ansell as Egg aka the future king Aegon V Targaryen. So far, the clip has been viewed over 150,000 times on HBO Max’s official YouTube channel.
