Designed to protect and empower students, The Student Engagement Center recently held a collaborative presentation with the aim of protecting and empowering students. Attendees at the fireplace in Building 10 learned about the Green Dot program and the ways it helps prevent bullying, stalking, and violence on campus.

Sinclair Student Support coordinator Andrew Owen helped facilitate the presentation and explain the program’s ‘3D’s’ of the program. They stand for ‘directing, delegating, or distracting’ and emphasize how students can assess potential dangers themselves.
Student Engagement Coordinator Crystal Single Ford was also on hand to explain how students can join clubs and organizations on eLearn.
Green Dot badges and other accessories were shared to raise awareness about the program and it’s benefits.
