Many students, professionals and community members will have the opportunity to expand their skills at Sinclair College’s SEEK Conference 2026 this August.
This event is an annual conference designed to inspire, educate and connect attendees through keynote presentations, breakout sessions and networking opportunities. Whether attendees are hoping to improve personally or professionally, this conference offers something for nearly everyone.
The conference will take place on Aug. 5 in Building 12 of the Dayton campus.
There is a registration fee of $10 including parking, access to keynote presentations, breakout sessions and lunch. This event will be held from 8 a.m.-3 p.m., with check-in 8-9 a.m.
In addition to educational sessions, attendees will have the opportunity to connect with business leaders and fellow community members. Networking is one of the conference’s biggest goals and benefits, allowing attendees to exchange ideas and learn from people with different backgrounds and experiences.

Thane Maynard will be this year’s featured opening speaker. Maynard is an executive chairman for the Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Garden.
Maynard is nationally recognized for his leadership in wildlife conservation, environmental education and community engagement.
For more than two decades leading the zoo, he has helped to expand conservation in zoological institutions. His experience as an author, educator and conservation advocate is expected to provide attendees with valuable insight into leadership, innovation and making an impact in their communities.
Participants can choose from a variety of educational breakout sessions throughout the day, covering topics such as leadership, communication, business development, personal growth, and both mental and physical wellness.
Each breakout session covers different topics, allowing participants to create a schedule for the day based on their interests.
Yamika Lee of Sinclair’s physical education department (PED) will be leading a “full body workout performed in a chair” to promote participants’ strength and flexibility. There will also be a variety of workshops on lifelong health including nutrition and age-related diseases.
For those looking for more of a business focus, there will be sessions on how to spot and avoid scams, how to downsize a business effectively, and responsible use of AI.
With an engaging keynote speaker, diverse breakout sessions and opportunities offer personal and professional development, SEEK conference 2026 promises to be an informative and worthwhile event for anyone interested in lifelong learning and career advancement.
