As the fall semester begins more students will be on campus, and for those taking classes at the Centerville campus, they should consider checking out the Rec Center.
It’s a space that many people are unaware of, but it has plenty to offer to people looking for a place to work out, or simply unwind and take a break from studying.
For students looking to exercise the center has the equipment needed for a basic workout. There are several treadmills and exercise machines, as well as weights that are available to use.

A ceiling mounted TV nearby can also provide something to watch during a work-out.
One doesn’t have to be a fitness expert to make use of the space; the Rec Center provides a convenient place for anyone who has a regular workout routine as well as anyone who just wants to get a little exercise in between classes.
Of course, making sure the Rec Center remains an enjoyable space for everyone means leaving it how you found it. Wiping down equipment, returning weights to the rack, and moving things back to their original spots only takes a few seconds and will make sure the space is ready for the next person.

Exercise isn’t the only reason to stop by. The Rec Center also has a foosball table and a Ms. Pac-Man machine, as well as a PS4 available in the back room. These provide some options for those who want to bring friends and just hang out, as it’s ideal for smaller groups.
The Rec Center is well worth checking out if you ever happen to be on the Centerville campus, as the students who have tried it have enjoyed it.
