Even with the 24/365 news cycle, it seems like it is harder than ever for people to keep up with what is going on in their communities, their nation, and the world. The Cheat Sheet from the news site The Daily Beast is there to help, at least at the national and international level.
The Daily Beast is part news aggregator site and part news reporting site. The most useful part of their site, in my opinion, is their daily headline list called the Cheat Sheet, where the writers and editors for the Beast list the important headlines of the day along with a quick comment on what the headline is about. The number of headlines varies from day to day and tend to accumulate throughout the day.
