Sinclair’s Office of Student and Community Engagement works hard to put on both fun and educational events for both students and staff. Among these events is the annual Spring Fling, which is a week-long spread of activities for people to participate in on campus. Here is what the Student and Community Engagement have put together for Spring Fling 2022.

Students choose to come to Sinclair for many different reasons. Maybe they like that it’s close to home or that it’s affordable. Whatever it may be, the college encourages individuals to share these thoughts. During the Spring Fling, there is a chance to have a hand in the creation of a quilt for this purpose. The activity has been aptly named “Why Sinclair?” and will be displayed upon its completion.

Students and staff can also get active throughout the week. From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Tuesday, April 12, participants can take a walk around campus, hunt for eggs, and compete for prizes. Visit the basement of Building 8 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the same day to play some blacklight golf! It is completely free to play and participate in the egg hunt.

Can’t make it to campus but still want to be part of the Spring Fling? Attend the World Civility Day Zoom on Thursday, April 14 from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.; attendees will also be gathering in the northwest loggia of the Sinclair Library. Take a few moments to learn about “how we are a part of something greater than self.”

If students would like to learn more about the Spring Fling and the other events the Student and Community Engagement has to offer, visit their events page. If students have any questions, they can contact the office at studentandcommunity@sinclair.edu
