Sinclair’s Fine Dining Restaurant Tartan Terrace Reopens

The Tartan Terrace is a restaurant where Sinclair students, staff, faculty, and the public are welcome to enjoy lunch or dinner, prepared by Sinclair’s Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management students.

After over a year of being closed due to the COIVD-19 pandemic, this month the Tartan Terrace reopened for one dinner and two lunch meals. This is a recap of the lunch served on Tuesday July 27.

The four course meal started out with a bowl of French onion soup.

This savory, flavorful soup was served with two cheese-covered pieces of bread on top.

The second course was a Caeser salad.

This was a traditional Caeser salad; the dressing was made with anchovies, and had a distinct fishy taste that some people may not be used to.

The entrée was a choice between two options: Coq au vin served with cranberry rice pilaf and ratatouille, and maple grilled salmon with served au gratin potatoes and asparagus.
