The unspoken words

mingle in my mouth

dance to the

tip of my tongue

try to escape my throat

and I don’t let them

because

words can change

a life, a soul, a heart

and words

can make it all

better or worse,

depending, and

these words,

they are so

powerful

so

very

powerful

and important because

sometimes these words

need

to be spoken, they

need

to change our lives

so

I love you.
