With high hopes heading into the NJCAA Region 12 Tournament, the Sinclair Tartan Pride were quickly sent home on Friday, May 14.
The No. 4 Tartan Pride were eliminated in the double-elimination tournament in Battle Creek, Mich. after falling in their opening two games. Sinclair lost to Muskegon Community College, 4-2 in the early game. With their backs abruptly against the wall in the loser’s bracket, the Tartan Pride were officially ousted after losing 6-3 to Kellogg Community College later that afternoon.
Sinclair finished the season with a 42-10 record and won the OCCAC Conference Tournament before falling in the regionals.
