For better or worse, each of our perceptions of beauty, our physical image, our bodies, and our health are affected by the messages that come to us through pop culture. About 30 million teens and adults in the U. S. suffer from eating disorders, which are caused by a range of factors. The purpose of this in-person webinar viewing and discussion is to look at these messages in a new way which will empower us to make a difference in the way we view these messages and what we communicate to others. The program will be presented by the Harold C. Schott Foundation Eating Disorders Program at Linder Center of HOPE.
