Okay cinephiles, stay warm, stay safe and snuggle in with the one you love and some chocolate treats to watch heart-warming movies this Valentine’s Day. 

Rom-Com: “Sleepless in Seattle” (1993)

Any Meg Ryan film can and should be on a rom-com list. “When Harry Met Sally” is the quintessential friends-to-lovers movie, but we picked “Sleepless in Seattle” since it centers around Valentine’s Day. This sweet love story pairs a grief-stricken widower and now-single parent (Tom Hanks), with a journalist who falls for him after hearing his heartfelt words of love for his deceased wife. 

Drama: “Titanic” (1997)

This movie is an epic historical romance and drama, written and directed by James Cameron. Academy Award-winning and major meme-producing movie set in 1912, features dynamics of wealth and poverty, feminism, love and courage.

Modern & Diverse: “Slumdog Millionaire” (2008)
