June kicks summer off, and to celebrate summer we have a list of festivals and events you can attend! There is something here for everyone, for many different occasions.
1. The first thing to look out for is Troy’s Juneteenth Walk & Celebration. This will be at 822 McKaig Ave, Troy on Saturday, June 15, 2024. The event will start at 2:45 p.m.. There is also a Juneteeth celebration at Sinclair that is being held in building 12 on Tuesday, June 18 at 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.. The event will be held a day early because campus is closed on June 19th.
2. If you’re looking for something quick to do for Father’s Day check out Beers with Dad – Arthop and Outdoor Market. This is being held at 1001 East 2nd St, Dayton on Sunday, June 16 from 11 a.m. to 4:00 p.m..
3. If you’re into cars there’s a show for you. The Riverside Rockin’ Rods Car Show & Festival is Saturday, June 15, from 10 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.. It is located at 599 Rohrer Blvd., Riverside.
4. This year’s Dayton Air Show is June 22 and 23 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on both days. This is a free and public event. However, available space to see the show fills up quickly so make sure you plan ahead.
This month don’t be afraid to go out and celebrate and have fun at whatever events you would like. Kick off the summer season with fun outdoors at one of these festivals or one of your choosing. Just make sure to have fun!
