Former and current chair of nursing department under investigation

After a routine program review by the board of nursing in September, it was discovered that the nursing department had let part-time instructor Mary Beth Lodge teach classes for five years without a license, Madeline Iseli, chief of staff said. Sinclair’s men’s basketball has practice filmed

Championship Productions, a company that produces and distributes videos featuring famous coaches and athletes, recently filmed a Sinclair Community College men’s basketball practice to study the tactics of coach Jeff Price. Championship Productions has in the past featured famous coaches like Duke’s Mike Krzyzewski, Kansas’ Bill Self, Connecticut’s Jim Calhoun and the retired Bobby Knight. Dr. Ned Sifferlen honored with Building naming

Connected to Sinclair since 1965, former president Ned J. Sifferlen has helped Sinclair grow from a YMCA building to the campus it is now. In respect to everything he has done for Sinclair, they held a ceremony that honored him in naming Building 14 the Dr. Ned J. Sifferlen center. Sifferlen started his career at Sinclair as a Business Technologies professor and moved up to the dean of Business Technologies in 1969.
