It is very special to me because I get to see family I don\u2019t get to see on a regular basis. We always take a picture with each of us wearing ugly sweaters. We also do a \u2018white elephant exchange,\u2019\u00a0where we buy the worst gift possible from a thrift store and wrap it without a name on it, then we pick a number to decide the order that we go in. The f irst person picks a gift and opens it and the next person can pick a different gift or take the first person\u2019s. It\u2019s from New Jersey and it\u2019s something I can look forward to, and it\u2019s good. My family and I always make latkes; they\u2019re like potato pancakes, they\u2019re always really good. I visit my dad\u2019s parents that night and my mom\u2019s parents that afternoon for lunch; we all live pretty close to each other so it\u2019s not a big drive.
