Many students, professionals and community members will have the opportunity to expand their skills at Sinclair College\u2019s SEEK Conference 2026 this August<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This event is an annual conference designed to inspire, educate and connect attendees through keynote presentations, breakout sessions and networking opportunities.\u00a0Whether attendees\u00a0are hoping to improve personally or professionally, this conference offers something for nearly everyone.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The conference will take place on Aug. 5 in Building 12 of the Dayton campus.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There is a registration fee\u00a0of $10 including parking, access to keynote presentations, breakout sessions and lunch. This event will be held from 8 a.m.-3 p.m., with check-in 8-9 a.m.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to educational sessions, attendees will have the opportunity to connect with business leaders and fellow community members. Networking is one of the conference\u2019s biggest goals and benefits, allowing attendees to exchange ideas\u00a0and\u00a0learn from people with different backgrounds and experiences.<\/p>\n\n\n

Thane Maynard will be this year\u2019s featured opening speaker. Maynard is\u00a0an executive chairman for the Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Garden.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Maynard is nationally\u00a0recognized for\u00a0his\u00a0leadership<\/a> in wildlife conservation,\u00a0environmental\u00a0education and\u00a0community\u00a0engagement.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For more than two decades leading the zoo, he has helped\u00a0to expand\u00a0conservation\u00a0in zoological institutions. His\u00a0experience\u00a0as an author, educator and conservation\u00a0advocate\u00a0is\u00a0expected to provide\u00a0attendees\u00a0with valuable insight\u00a0into\u00a0leadership, innovation and making\u00a0an\u00a0impact in their\u00a0communities.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Participants can choose from a variety of educational breakout sessions throughout the day, covering topics such as leadership, communication, business development, personal growth, and both mental and physical wellness.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Each breakout session covers different topics, allowing participants to create a schedule for the day based on their interests. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yamika Lee of Sinclair’s physical education department (PED) will be leading a “full body workout performed in a chair” to promote participants’ strength and flexibility. There will also be a variety of workshops on lifelong health including nutrition and age-related diseases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For those looking for more of a business focus, there will be sessions on how to spot and avoid scams, how to downsize a business effectively, and responsible use of AI.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With an engaging keynote speaker, diverse breakout sessions and opportunities offer personal and professional development, SEEK conference 2026 promises to be an informative and worthwhile event for anyone interested in lifelong learning and career advancement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
