The Tartan Marketplace<\/strong><\/p>\nThe Tartan Marketplace is one place students can go to plug in. \u00a0The rear dining area, which features two TVs, has outlet plugs against both the front and rear walls. \u00a0The long tables along these walls offer students space to eat lunch, study their books and use their laptops without crowding their neighbors. \u00a0Free WiFi access and abundant lighting make the Tartan Marketplace a great location to plug in for a while.<\/p>\n
<\/strong><\/p>\nThe Library<\/strong><\/p>\nThe library offers a wealth of outlet plugs for students who know where to look. \u00a0The upper level of the library, also known as the loggia, has two large areas where students can plug in. <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\nThe area by Buildings 1 and 2 has couches, large chairs and tables available for students to use. \u00a0Three of the four columns have open outlets that students can use.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\nThe open area near Building 8 is best\u00a0known as a presentation area. \u00a0Though there are fewer chairs and tables, there are still places where students can plug in. \u00a0Each of the four columns has an outlet attached, none of which is connected to a permanent station.<\/p>\n
<\/strong><\/p>\nThere are also outlets available downstairs in the cafe area. \u00a0The plugs are connected to the garden walls and have tall tables next to them. \u00a0Though the tables are smaller than in some other locations on campus, they are next to the only Starbucks in downtown Dayton.<\/p>\n
<\/strong><\/p>\nThe Student Activities Center<\/strong><\/p>\nThe Student Activities Center in Building 8 is full of students, so it’s a good thing there are opportunities to plug in. \u00a0The most visible outlets are between the projection screens, though center stage may not be the ideal place to study.<\/p>\n
For those who wish to be less conspicuous, there are usually tables and chairs set up next to the stage area by the stairs. \u00a0Though the tables are roomy, not many people use them. \u00a0The same can be said for the outlets near the jukebox and table tennis court, though these plugs are used slightly more often.<\/p>\n
Hallways<\/strong><\/p>\nSometimes as a student you just have to know where to look to find a good place to plug in. \u00a0There are outlets located on the walls of various buildings that a student could plug in to, but foot traffic and sitting the floor could make this option a last resort. \u00a0On the other hand, if you’re sitting in the hall anyway while waiting for a class, these few-and-far-between outlets could be a convenient way to plug in after all.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
