According to statistics provided by the National Center for Education Statistics<\/a>, 39 percent of all
students enrolled at Sinclair for the Fall 2016 semester were 25 years of age or older.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Students of this age demographic are most likely not just dealing with academics. They are also
juggling part-time or full-time jobs, taking care of their families, and other responsibilities. And
while academic support is important, that may not be all students need.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sinclair has a variety of resources for students who may be looking for help outside of the
classroom; a few of them are listed below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Counseling Services<\/strong> \u2013 10424, 937-512-3032
Sinclair Counseling Services provides free sessions to students who may need someone to talk
to about their concerns or issues they may be facing. Issues that counselors can help address
include relationships, depression\/anxiety, and eating disorders. While Sinclair counselors
cannot replace therapists, they can help point students in the direction of further resources.

Office of the Ombudsman <\/strong>\u2013 10424, 937-512-2205
Amy Hartman, the Sinclair Ombudsman, helps both students and faculty find solutions to both
academic and personal issues. She can provide intervention as well as link individuals to
resources on campus and within the community. Assistance requests can be made here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Multifaith Campus Ministry<\/strong> \u2013 10443, 937-512-2481
Larry Lindstrom, Sinclair\u2019s Multifaith Campus Chaplain, supports and educates individuals
throughout their personal and spiritual journeys. Anyone is welcome, regardless of faith or
background. Appointments can be scheduled here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
