But the Mavs are making a transition in becoming a more defensive squad.<\/p>\n<p>Dallas is allowing 93 points per game through its opening five games, which is a shocking stat considering the Mavericks are well-known for their offense. Led by forward <strong>Dirk Nowitzki<\/strong> and guard <strong>Jason Kidd<\/strong>, the Mavericks are going to have to find a way to slow the Raptors offensive firepower.<\/p>\n<p>Toronto&#8217;s front court consists of center <strong>Andrea<\/strong> <strong>Bargnani<\/strong> and forward <strong>Chris<\/strong> <strong>Bosh<\/strong> and the two are averaging a combined 49.4 points and 19 rebounds a game. Forward <strong>Hedo<\/strong> <strong>Turkoglu<\/strong> also poses as a threat with his dangerous shooting ability.<\/p>\n<p>The Raptors have lost to Dallas in 10 of their previous 11 meetings.
