They chose someone who has demonstrated excellence in teaching, service, and scholarship throughout the 2021 year. Also, Human Resources Officers at SOCHE member institutions named staff members who demonstrated excellence in student success, service, and assessment throughout 2021.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Congratulations to 2022 Sinclair Honorees:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00b7 Rebecca Drollinger&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Assistant Professor and Program Director, Clinical Laboratory Technology in Allied Health Instruction&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00b7 Dr. Tina Hummons&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Registrar, Registration, and Student Records&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00b7 Nicholas Mullen&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Professor of Respiratory Care&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00b7 Maya Murray&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Program Coordinator, Advanced Job Training&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00b7 Alecia Renner&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Health Sciences Laboratory Technician, Health Sciences Division&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cI was very surprised and humbled,\u201d said Dr. Tina L. Hummons. She has a doctorate in community college leadership from Ferris State University, a master\u2019s in education leadership and a bachelor\u2019s in liberal arts from Wright State University. She has been a part of the Sinclair family for 15 years.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">SOCHE is in collaboration with Ohio universities and colleges to promote education and employment that will transform the economy. Founded in 1967, it has a program offered to Sinclair students called <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sinclair.edu\/services\/welcome-center\/rsr\/registration\/consortium\/\">Cross Registration<\/a>. The program allows enrolled students at Sinclair an opportunity to take courses from other participating SOCHE institutions. Hummons is part of the team that can help students achieve their degrees.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cIt\u2019s an opportunity for degree seeking students to either advance their program of study, or if they need one more class that Sinclair is not offering, then they can go to a partnering school to take the class,\u201d said Hummons.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sinclair students can take classes at Wright State, Central State, or Wilberforce. To fo this, the student needs to fill out the appropriate form from Academic Advising and take it to the registration office.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cA Sinclair student would pay Sinclair prices to take the class. You pay our tuition and our fees,\u201d said Hummons&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Students need to be aware that other schools may have a different academic calendar.
