If you\u2019re like me, then nothing gets you into the holiday spirit more than\u2026 horror movies.&nbsp; Okay, it\u2019s not what St. Patrick\u2019s Day is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.history.com\/topics\/st-patricks-day\/history-of-st-patricks-day\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.history.com\/topics\/st-patricks-day\/history-of-st-patricks-day\">traditionally known for<\/a>, but here are five Irish horror movies to help get you ready for the holiday.&nbsp; Plus, in the era of COVID, you can watch all of these safely at home.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.imdb.com\/title\/tt0107387\/?ref_=fn_al_tt_1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">The Leprechaun Movies<\/a>&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<span class=\"embed-youtube\" style=\"text-align:center; Warwick Davis, best known as Professor Flitwick from the Harry Potter films, stars as an evil leprechaun out for blood in this delightful franchise.&nbsp; I truly believe that no St. Patrick\u2019s Day is complete without watching these movies.&nbsp; The first one takes itself more seriously, but the sequels fully embrace their place as horror-comedy.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.imdb.com\/title\/tt1876454\/?ref_=fn_al_tt_1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Red Clover<\/a>&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<span class=\"embed-youtube\" style=\"text-align:center; It was made for the Syfy channel, so the plot is thin.&nbsp; I think this film is even funnier than the Leprechaun franchise, but I don\u2019t think it\u2019s intentional.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.imdb.com\/title\/tt6198946\/?ref_=nv_sr_srsg_0\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Hole in the Ground<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<span class=\"embed-youtube\" style=\"text-align:center; A woman and her son move to a house on the edge of the woods.&nbsp; After her son goes wandering in the woods alone, the woman believes that he returns with sinister intentions.&nbsp; The idea that she knows there\u2019s something wrong with her child, but no one else believes her is genuinely creepy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.imdb.com\/title\/tt2474976\/?ref_=nv_sr_srsg_0\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>The Hallow<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<span class=\"embed-youtube\" style=\"text-align:center;
