Schrader was hired in 2017 with a five-year contract. Provost and Executive Vice President Sue Edwards has begun to take over some of Schrader\u2019s duties.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Source: Dayton Daily News<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Officer Timothy Liddy submitted his resignation Thursday, Oct. 24 just before he was scheduled to be interviewed as a part of an internal investigation into a Facebook post made about Kwasi Casey a deceased man whose remains were found in a burned garage in September. In the post, Liddy said \u201cKarma finally got Kwasi.\u201d Liddy said \u201cpersonal health reasons\u201d led to his resignation, according to personnel records.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Source: WHIO.com<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>National<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Kayne West finally releases his ninth album \u201cJesus Is King\u201d on Oct. 25 after it was originally slated for a date at the end of September. The new album is a Christian-oriented rap album and it will be released in conjunction with a new IMAX documentary.<\/li><li>Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg was grilled for six hours on Capitol Hill, answering questions regarding fact-checking on the site\u2019s ads. Representatives inquired about Cambridge Analytica, a corporation in which former Trump appointed White House Chief Strategist Steve Bannon served on the board.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Worldwide<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>In an effort to fight media censorship, the BBC has made a version of its website available on Tor, a privacy-focused browser that makes it more difficult to monitor a user&#8217;s online activity. According to the BBC, countries such as China, Iran and Vietnam have attempted to block access to its normal website and it hopes it will allow those countries\u2019 citizens to view it on a secure platform.<\/li><li>The bodies of 39 people&#8211;31 men and 8 women&#8211;were found in an Essex lorry (British equivalent of a semi-truck) this past week. The bodies were initially believed to be Chinese nationals though the BBC says at least three of the victims were probably from Vietnam.
