Meet\u2026<\/b><\/p>\n
\u00a0 \u00a0Samantha Warren is a recent graduate from Sinclair Community College who earned her degree in Visual Communications as well as two certificates\u2014one in Design Processes and another in Digital Design\u2014in May of 2018. <\/span><\/p>\n Why she\u2019s interesting\u2026\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n \u00a0 \u00a0Mrs. Warren has many plans for life after college; one being to outshine the competition as well as continuing to pursue a creative career. <\/span><\/p>\n \u00a0 \u00a0She also has the always ambitious goal of starting up a business. Her focus is on custom made furniture, and she hopes to incorporate her branding and design skills with her partner\u2019s craftsmanship abilities. <\/span><\/p>\n \u00a0 \u00a0When asked what her inspiration came from, Warren replied, \u201cI love interior design, and we love making our own custom furniture, so why not make it a business?\u201d \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u00a0 \u00a0Currently, Warren is a bartender at Milano\u2019s in Dayton. She also has just recently been employed at the Wilderness Agency in downtown Dayton as a graphic designer, something she\u2019s always wanted to do. <\/span><\/p>\n \u00a0 \u00a0The Wilderness Agency are offices that are designed to be comfortable as well as visually interesting. Outside, in the company\u2019s garden, there are hammocks with bubble lights festooned above and even a koi pond. <\/span><\/p>\n \u00a0 \u00a0As a side hustle, she does freelancing work with chalkboard calligraphy. She finds herself having a love-hate relationship with the job, however. While pay tends to be inconsistent, she likes the freedom and flexibility that comes along with it. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u00a0 \u00a0When she still attended Sinclair, Mrs. Warren\u2019s favorite class was strategic marketing and communication. <\/span><\/p>\n \u00a0 \u00a0\u201cWe got to create our own company and brand it from start to finish,\u201d Warren explains. \u201cI created \u2018Rita Run.\u2019 It was a margarita truck, similar to an ice cream truck, but for adults.\u201d \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u00a0 \u00a0When she is not seen mixing up concoctions at Milano\u2019s, Mrs. Warren enjoys photography, with her tortoiseshell cat and boxer being two favorite subjects of hers. She also loves traveling, as well as decorating her home. <\/span><\/p>\n \u00a0 \u00a0\u201cInterior design, rearranging my house constantly, and trips to Target to spruce up new shelves are also a constant,\u201d Warren said. \u201cAlso, playing some old school Mario Bros.
