\u00a0 \u00a0SH Show Productions\u2019 planning of The Dayton Home & Outdoor Living Show, the largest home show in the region is coming to a close as the three day Dayton Convention Center showcase draws near. The event will be held from March 8-10.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0Filled with a plethora of ideas, trends and talents, the show features more than 225 exhibitors at the Dayton Convention Center showcasing, including the latest in home improvement, outdoor living, kitchen & bath design, culinary demonstrations and more. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0\u201cThe Dayton Home & Outdoor Living Show is a show that offers all things for your home or outdoor living spaces.\u201d Says Randy Phillips, the showcase director.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0\u201cSo after a long winter if you are thinking of sprucing up a bit or doing a full remodel of your home you may come and talk with the experts to get ideas or little or a lot of help to make that happen.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0This year’s show will be celebrating its 25<\/span>th<\/span> year. Starting as the Dayton Home & Garden Show the namesake changed as more and more clients and attendee\u2019s outdoor spaces have become less garden focused and more entertainment based.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"\u00a0 \u00a0\u201cGuests will see a wide variety of products and services.\u201d Phillips continues, \u201cAnd talk with experts in paint and design. On Friday we will also feature a new \u2018Junior Chef Showdown\u2019 and students of local culinary schools will compete with one another to create a dish to delight our judges from the items in our mystery basket and be named Junior Chef Showdown Champ.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0Saturday and Sunday will feature the same event but in place of students, professional Chefs from local restaurants including Meadowlark, Wheat Penny, Lily\u2019s Bistro, The Watermark, The Dayton Club, Winds Caf\u00e9 and The Chef\u2019s Case will be in competition. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0The winner of each will face off on Sunday to be crowned \u201cDayton\u2019s Chef Showdown Champ\u201d\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0\u201cCome prepared to spend the day, ask questions, get ideas,\u201d Phillips says about being prepared for the show.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0He continues: <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0\u201c…Walk away with a plan to create your ideal home for now and in the future, whether this is your for now home or the home that you will age in place, we have the experts to help you create just that.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0\u201cWe have everything for the home, apartment, or dream home in your future,\u201d Phillips says.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0He went on to say: <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0\u201cYou should come and immerse yourself in all things for the home and garden, or just come for a glimpse of spring with the flora that is throughout the show.\u201d <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0Attending a show with professional vendors is more than just a purchasing opportunity. Attendees receive ideas and updated trends whether you are a renter or a homeowner. <\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"\u00a0 \u00a0Phillips wants attendees of this event to leave with one key asset, \u201cKnowledge on how to start a plan.\u201d He says. \u201cOr just fresh ideas for the home or apartment or perhaps a great way to prepare a quick meal for the home. I would not want to be under the time clock of the chef showdown but it sure is fun to watch!\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0For the first time as a part of the show, SH Show Production will also be holding a Career Advancement (Job Fair). <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0Contacting trade schools and colleges, SH Show Productions have invited students to speak with potential employers. They are the first home show in the U.S. to offer such an option.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0The Dayton Home & Outdoor Living Show will be held March 8-10 at The Dayton Convention Center.<\/span><\/p>\n
