\u00a0 \u00a0With the original release date of May 3, 2019, being turned to dust, \u201cAvengers: Endgame\u201d will be coming to theaters in the United States and the United Kingdom on April 26, 2019. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0\u201cAvengers: Endgame\u201d is a direct sequel to 2018\u2019s \u201cAvengers: Infinity War\u201d as well as a sequel in general to \u201cThe Avengers\u201d in 2012 and 2015\u2019s \u201cAvengers: Age of Ultron.\u201d <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0Originally, the film was announced back in October 2014 as \u201cAvengers: Infinity War – Part 2\u201d before it was removed by Marvel in July 2016 and was referred to as \u201cUntitled Avengers film\u201d until December 2018 when the final title was revealed.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0Returning for this production are Anthony and Joe Russo as the directors, Kevin Feige as the producer and Alan Silvestri as the composer for the film\u2019s score. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0Along with them, the screenplay will once more be written by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely. In addition, the cinematography will be done by Trent Opaloch and the movie will be edited by Jeffrey Ford and Matthew Schmidt. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0Filming began in April 2017 at Pinewood Atlanta Studios in Fayette County, GA. This means that it started right after the filming of \u201cAvengers: Infinity War\u201d had come to a close and was finished in January 2018. Any additional filming was done in the Downtown and Metro Atlanta locations and New York. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0Visual effects for the movie are done by several different companies, those being Industrial Light & Magic, Weta Digital, DNEG, Framestore, Cinesite, Digital Domain, Rise, Lola VFX, Cantina Creative, Capital T, Technicolor VFX and Territory Studio.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0This movie will follow the aftermath of Thanos\u2019 victory over the beloved heroes within the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe). The first trailer for the film dropped on Dec. 7, 2018 on the official Marvel Entertainment YouTube channel. In it, the audience gets an image of the post snap world that Thanos has created during \u201cAvengers: Infinity War.\u201d <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0Tony Stark is left in space after his allies were turned to dust on the planet Titan, and he is now found floating around in a spaceship with no power. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0He calls Pepper Potts, his fian<\/span>c\u00e9e and the CEO of Stark Industries,<\/span> from the mask of his destroyed suit<\/span> to tell her of his circumstances within the spacecraft in order to not leave her hanging about his fate. From the time of his message, he states that food and water has since run out and that oxygen will the following morning. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0Following this, we see the remaining Avengers talking to figure out a way to take down the Mad Titan once and for all when the doorbell rings. Out front is Scott Lang, also known as Ant-Man, requesting access into the building. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0Several characters that were absent from \u201cAvengers: Infinity War\u201d will make a comeback for \u201cAvengers: Endgame\u201d to show that they have not been erased by the universal half purge. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0These include Ant-Man and Hawkeye, the former somehow escaping from the quantum realm, and the later having been missing in action since the events of \u201cCaptain America: Civil War.\u201d <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0Moviegoers also expect to see the inevitable arrival of Captain Marvel after the previous movie\u2019s post credits scene revealed a distress call sent to her by Nick Fury before his demise.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0Despite many of the main cast becoming dust, all of them are credited in the film. While it is no secret that they would be coming back (as \u201cSpider-Man: Far From Home\u201d is confirmed to take place after \u201cAvengers: Endgame\u201d), it is still an interesting note. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0Along with that, Gamora – who was killed separately from those that met their fate at the hands of the Infinity Gauntlet – has been confirmed by Joe Russo to still exist within the Soul stone. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0At the end of 2018, \u201cAvengers: Endgame\u201d was named the second most anticipated film by IMDb, the most anticipated blockbuster of 2019 by Fandango and the most anticipated superhero (and overall) film by Atom Tickets.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0The wait is not long for Marvel fans and lovers of big budget film spectacles alike to witness the surviving Avengers\u2019 last stand against Thanos.<\/span><\/p>\n
