\u00a0 \u00a0Ohio had its first snowfall on Monday, Nov. 26 and if that does not get you into the holiday spirit, then Sinclair\u2019s production of “A Charlie Brown Christmas” might do the trick. Come join Charlie Brown, Snoopy and the whole peanut gallery as they find out the meaning of Christmas.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0Four years ago, when \u201cA Charlie Brown Christmas\u201d became a live stage production, The Sinclair Theatre was the first to display it in the area. Now, the show is back by popular demand for a fifth year. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0The performance times include Thursday, Dec. 13 at 12:00 p.m, Friday, Dec. 14 at 12:00 p.m and 7:00 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 15 at 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m., and Sunday, Dec. 16 at 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0Tickets are selling fast so if you\u2019re interested you can visit www.sinclair.edu\/tickets to reserve your seats. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0The tickets are $8 each, and despite rules from previous years, every child no matter the age must have a ticket upon arrival to the show.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0The show is directed by Gina Keesattel with music directed by David Bush and choreographed by Rodney Veal. \u00a0The regular policy of no child under 6-years-old has been lifted so children and adults can enjoy the interactive show. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0The cast of the year\u2019s production includes: Rafael Santillan as Charlie Brown, Tanner Titkemeyer as Snoopy, Rachael Charles as Lucy, Micah Koverman as Linus, Austin as Vega Pig Pen and Joseph Herzog as Schroeder. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0Other characters include Alexandria Weiss enacting the role of Violet, Sally portrayed by Lydia Dye, Bailey Rhonemus as Patty, and Christopher Leavitt as Shermy. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0The kid friendly play will take place during the upcoming weeks so save a seat and bring the family out for a night of Christmas fun.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0 Snoopy has been around for generations, from 1965 to the present! That\u2019s 53 years in production and syndication. This means that Snoopy can reach generations in hopes of spreading holiday joy. This show has originated from the animated version of the Peanut gallery. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0The Sinclair Blair Hall Theater will partner with the American Sign Language Department to provide ASL shadow interpreting during the production. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0Shadow interpreting is when interpreters follow actors onstage while interpreting, instead of being located off to the side. The duration of the show is 40 minutes and will include a meet and greet with the characters after the curtain falls. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0Tickets are going fast as one performance is already sold out. Also of note is that three out of the four showings will be interpreted by the American Sign Language Department, so be sure to pick the correct showing. <\/span><\/p>\n
