\u00a0 \u00a0After decades of inspiring and entertaining comic-book fans and movies goers all over the world, Marvel legend and actual superhero, Stan Lee, has died at the age of 95. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0Earlier this morning, Stan Lee\u2019s daughter, Joan Celia Lee, contacted TMZ with the tragic news of her father\u2019s death. According to Joan, he was rushed to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Hollywood Hills where he then passed away shortly after. Lee had struggled with pneumonia and vision problems. The exact cause of his death is currently unknown, but the effect of his death has impacted fans young and old across the planet. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0I\u2019ll have it known that I didn\u2019t grow up reading many comic books from Marvel or DC. I never really grew to appreciate the many comic storylines and characters of Marvel and DC until my teen years. However, I remember waking up every Saturday morning to tune\u00a0in to the “Spectacular Spider-Man” cartoon. One of the first superhero films I saw was the 2002 “Spider-Man” film. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0He has made countless cameos in Marvel movies, such as installments in the MCU, the X-Men movies and the Sony Spider-Man\/Venom films. He even appeared in a DC film before his passing. This appearance was in “<\/span>Teen Titans Go to the Movies<\/span>,”\u00a0<\/span><\/i>where he basically played a parody of himself. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0Never the less, seeing a Marvel icon as polarizing as Stan Lee finally show up in a DC movie was pretty bizarre and rather entertaining.<\/span> His final film appearance was in “Venom” back in October, where he advised Eddie Brock not to give up on his ex.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0My point is whether on the comic page, in the theater or even in the living room on Saturday mornings Stan Lee has defined the childhoods of countless individuals with his larger than life characters and brilliant stories. <\/span><\/p>\n
