\u00a0 \u00a0One particular question tends to get people fired up when asked on their input on the matter.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0Is it a political question? Perhaps one about ethics? Nope, not even close. The question is whether or not pineapple belongs on pizza.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0This question does not have a clear answer, being opinionated since it\u2019s based on personal taste.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0No one can tell you how you taste something except for your own taste buds.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0Personally, pineapple on pizza has always been a personal favorite of mine. I have vividly fond memories of biting into a steamy Pizza Hut stuffed crust pizza smothered with pineapples.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0This may sound horrifying to some, but to others, it raises feelings of mouth watering goodness whilst adding a tropical flair to something bland.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0Gordon Ramsay said, \u201cPineapple does not go on top of pizza,\u201d which I disagree with.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0Although he is a professional in food and definitely knows more about someone like me who can burn microwave macaroni, my heart tells me that pizza is the place for pineapple.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0The sweet juiciness of the pineapple directly clashing with the salty dry taste of the pizza is just the perfect combination for me.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0Many other types of foods use these kinds of clashes to their advantage, offering the taste equivalent of a dramatic plot twist in a novel.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0Hot french fries from Wendy\u2019s dipped in their frigid Frosty is another strange combination that many people seem to like, but some find odd.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0An interesting combination of food I have recently discovered is a hamburger with a peanut butter topping. The mention of it made me sick to think about, but when I actually tried it I was blown away. I actually enjoyed it more than ketchup or mustard!<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0They also included a jelly type sauce on the side. This sauce happened to be spicy, which was weird to me because the only jelly I have ever had has never been spicy. It was still surprisingly good on a burger though.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0On the argument of odd foods I stick with one strong opinion, I will always stay away from putting odd topping on food I am sharing with somebody.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0Almost everybody has been in the position where there are put in front of food they do not like in a group situation.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0I feel like this is a problem because when I am in that position, I do not want to feel rude by not eating the food, but at the same time I don\u2019t want to force myself to eat something I do not like at all.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0This is why in a group of friends or family I will never indulge in the sweet pineapple goodness on the group pizza.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0Typically I will stay with the classics like pepperoni or meatballs, or in extreme cases just a plain old cheese pizza.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0To wrap things up, everybody has different preferences in everything. Whether that be fashion, media or food, everyone is unique in their tastes. Whether you like pineapple on pizza or pickles with peanut butter, your specific tastes are what make you who you are.<\/span><\/p>\n
