\u00a0 \u00a0“Avengers: Infinity War” is directed by Anthony and Joe Russo and stars any actor or actress you can name off the top of your head. This movie has been anticipated since the villain, Thanos, first appeared in the after credits scene of \u201cThe Avengers.\u201d <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0So needless to say fans have been very anxious to see what is in store. Out of respect for that excitement there will be no spoilers in this review.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0From the opening scene this movie has you on the edge of your seat. Not only is it attention grabbing but it was the perfect beginning of this story. It really showed how this movie would differ from past MCU films regarding tone and the type of villain Thanos would be.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0As the film progresses we are introduced to many of the heroes from past MCU films. The tough concept of this movie was that every hero has their own movies with their own team of writers and the Russo brothers were challenged to capture that as one team in one movie. I thought they did this extremely well. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0When the movie focuses on the Guardians of the Galaxy it feels like a Guardians movie. When it focuses on Wakanda it feels like you are watching a \u201cBlack Panther\u201d sequel. It captures the atmosphere of every different franchise across the board. In addition, all of the personalities in the movie blend extremely well.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0That leads me to one of my two complaints. Now this could be my own biased opinion because he is my favorite but I would have enjoyed seeing more of Captain America. I expected him to have a major role given that the Russo brothers have made Winter Soldier And “Captain America: Civil War.” <\/span><\/p>\n

\"Screen\u00a0 \u00a0But as I said that is my own biased opinion. I would also like to recognize that I can\u2019t even label this as a complaint because everything in this movie made sense. If Cap had another subplot or another scene it could feel forced and absolutely nothing in this film is forced. So in truth this was not a complaint at all I am happy with the direction they took.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0One of my favorite things about this movie was the CGI on the characters. 99 percent of the time it is flawless. On Thanos especially, along with being the best villain Marvel has had so far, he looked like a real person rather than just some CGI monster. They went as far as to add arm hair and fingerprints to him. It was very clear the amount of work they put in to his design.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0However, there was one scene where the CGI was just downright awful. I\u2019m not one to complain about this but it just bothered me to much. In the scene where Spiderman receives the Iron Spider suit we see in the trailer, his original costume looks like a cartoon in a live action movie. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0This bothers me so much because I had the same complaint with his appearance in “Captain America: Civil War.” It\u2019s clear they spent so much time making Thanos and his servants great they put Spiderman on the back burner. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0“Spider-Man: Homecoming” proved that they have the ability to make Spiderman look realistic so it confuses me why they didn\u2019t apply that in such a large scale movie. This is my one true complaint about the film.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"Screen\u00a0 \u00a0In the end, I believe the Russo brothers have created an iconic movie. They proved their ability to make something great with \u201cCaptain America: Winter Soldier\u201d and “Captain America: Civil War” and has now made a film that could be considered greater. The twists and all around quality of this story will keep you on the edge of your seat until the very end and leave you wanting more. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0The next MCU film is \u201cAnt Man and the Wasp\u201d due to come out this July. Also, the yet untitled \u201cAvengers 4\u201d is due to come out next May and trust me after seeing “Avengers: Infinity War” you will be begging for the next film.<\/span><\/p>\n
