Hi! My name is Matt Hall and I\u2019m the new creative director at the Clarion! I\u2019ve been a working as a graphic designer here since May of this year. I\u2019m a second-year visual communications major and have a passion for design.<\/p>\n
I started classes at Sinclair in August of last year. I really love the campus and all the classes that I\u2019ve taken so far, especially my design classes. The food here isn\u2019t half bad either!<\/p>\n
Since I began my job as a graphic designer for the Clarion, I\u2019ve definitely learned a lot about design and teamwork. I\u2019m seriously grateful for all of my co-workers and friends that I\u2019ve met so far as well. They\u2019ve been so supportive and have some great ideas for the Clarion\u2019s future.<\/p>\n
One of my favorite memories I\u2019ve made while at the Clarion was the creation of Clary, our official mascot. He\u2019s a little rolled up Clarion newspaper with a cartoon face. He\u2019s adorable. I fondly remember designing him and making all his different poses. He\u2019s basically my child.<\/p>\n
As for the future of the Clarion, I hope that we can make many improvements to the paper in the next few months. We plan on improving the website and advertising especially. Plus, we plan on making Clary\u2019s presence on campus much more prevalent! So keep an eye out for him.<\/p>\n
I will continue to help out at the Clarion as much as possible, and hope to do a great job as our new creative director!<\/p>\n
