Many of you will be future Sinclair graduates in roughly five weeks. I will also be graduating with you.<\/span><\/p>\n Now that we are down to the nitty gritty it can be stressful. But here are some tips on how to get through these last few weeks without dying.<\/span><\/p>\n I am not only the Creative Director for the Clarion, but I am a member (and officer) for two other campus organizations. I have taken on projects for both.<\/span><\/p>\n As much as I love every organization I am part of I wish I had more time to do other things \u2013 like sleep for instance.<\/span><\/p>\n If you didn\u2019t join extra-curricular activities, go ahead and regret that decision, too. Those clubs and organizations look good on scholarship and job resumes.<\/span><\/p>\n Speaking of resumes, go ahead and freak out about those.<\/span><\/p>\n I bet most of you haven\u2019t started sending them out. I bet some of y\u2019all haven\u2019t even created a resume yet.<\/span><\/p>\n I don\u2019t blame you for not sending them out in search of your adult, real world job. I haven\u2019t sent mine either.<\/span><\/p>\n You\u2019re going to start feeling anxious though. You should just go ahead and send them out. The worst that could happen is you don\u2019t get an interview offer.<\/span><\/p>\n You probably have a ton of assignments, projects and papers due these last few weeks. You\u2019re getting buried under all the crap.<\/span><\/p>\n Go ahead and dig yourself out by figuring out which ones are the most important and put in the most effort there. Once you\u2019ve got those out of the way you can put what little effort and energy you have left into the rest of your pile of \u201cto do.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n Even without all the school work you need to do, you\u2019re still going to be stressed about graduation because you have to worry about getting your regalia for the commencement ceremony.<\/span><\/p>\n Don\u2019t worry! Sinclair sends out email reminders for that kind of thing.<\/span><\/p>\n Granted I got my \u201creminder\u201d email a couple of days before the cutoff for attending the ceremony, but I never got any other emails before that.<\/span><\/p>\n If you are part of clubs and organizations, you should check with the advisors to see if you can get regalia for being a member.<\/span><\/p>\n I know both organizations I am part of outside of the Clarion offer regalia. That stresses me out because it\u2019s outside of my control on when I get it, and I\u2019m one of those people that just like to be prepared ahead of time.<\/span><\/p>\n Then there\u2019s the ceremony itself to consider.<\/span><\/p>\n What do you wear under the gown? What kind of shoes do you need? How many people can you invite?<\/span><\/p>\n All these questions and no answers. I don\u2019t have them because I keep asking myself the same questions.<\/span><\/p>\n Plot twist: my biggest concern is not tripping over my own two feet when I walk across the stage.<\/span><\/p>\n The most important thing to remember though\u2026 Just breathe.<\/span><\/p>\n You\u2019re almost finished! You have five weeks left. Then you\u2019re off for a couple months (hopefully) for summer, and you get to go back out there and hit the grind again.<\/span><\/p>\n Brittany Fletcher<\/strong> So, graduation is coming up!
