Believe it or not, the number one fear in America is public speaking. One of Sinclair\u2019s active student clubs is the Toastmasters Club, whose sole purpose is to provide an organization to students who seek to improve their public speaking skills.

\nToastmasters Club President, Karen Schneider, said there are multiple benefits the club offers students.
\n \u201cNot only does Toastmasters help improve speaking skills, but it also boosts your confidence in general and improves leadership skills,\u201d Scheinder said.
\nEvery Wednesday this club meets to practice their clarity, confidence, diction and delivery in public speaking. Schneider believes that effective communication is a lifelong tool that will help students in more situations than they may think. \u201cJob interviews, presentations, storytelling, are all affected by our public speaking skills.
\nToastmasters Club wants you to feel welcome and comfortable to participate pressure-free,\u201d said Schneider.
\nToastmasters Club meets every Wednesday from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and welcomes any student, staff or alumni to attend.
