Ohio State football coach Jim Tressel has been suspended for five games and is being fined $250,000 for violating NCAA rules concerning his football players selling signed memorabilia. It is being investigated but authorities believe that the players have sold or traded championship rings, signed jerseys and cleats. There are a couple of different roads we can go down here. Short term classes are a choice for students

Students who may not want to take a full term of classes have the opportunity to take short term classes instead. One full term quarter of classes is either 10 or 11 weeks long. The shorter term classes will split the quarter into five week courses and are offered through certain classes. The names of the terms of classes are categorized by letters. Students, staff or faculty who are having issues with their personal computers can get assistance from Computer Information Systems (CIS) students at Sinclair Community College. For their capstone, eight CIS students and one Business Information Systems (BIS) student are simulating the experience of running a business. Kirkman grew up with a desire to teach

Dawayne Kirkman said he wanted to be in education since before he went to kindergarten. Kirkman, the manager of the Huber Heights and Englewood Learning Centers, said he’d play “school” with his older sister while he was younger. Sinclair tennis team going to Nationals

The Sinclair Community College tennis team is on their way to the National Junior College Athletic Associations (NJCAA) national championship in hopes of bringing back some titles. The national championships are held in Tucson, AZ from May 7-13. The tournament is played under double elimination rules. The original bracket is known as the “main draw,” but if someone loses in their first match they are entered in a “back draw” to where they can keep playing and hopefully win their event. Points...
