All Sinclair Community College campuses are hosting the “Big EZ” event on April 9, from 10 a.m. to 1 .m., according to Dawayne Kirkman, site coordinator of the Englewood and Huber Heights’ Learning Centers. Students can bring their taxes and have them professionally filed at the event. After having a dangerous allergic reaction to some medication, JoAnn Billiter had a seizure, fell and suffered injures to her face while at the Wal-Mart on Miller Lane. The ANGEL system used at Sinclair Community College is multi-faceted and complicated, making problems hard to diagnose and fix, according to Mike Burns, director of Research, Analytics and Systems Development. “There are so many pieces to the ANGEL puzzle,” Burns said. It had only been a couple of months into the 2009-2010 academic school year at Sinclair Community College when Paige Schmerber found out she was pregnant – but that didn’t stop her from coming to class. Schmeber says she kept taking classes all the way through spring quarter, while also holding a manager’s position at a tanning salon.
