From hitting game winning home runs to throwing down tomahawk dunks, it was an exciting year for Sinclair sports. While no team won its ultimate prize of a National Championship, three programs – Men’s baseball, Women’s basketball and Men’s basketball – enjoyed successful seasons that saw their win totals rise from the season before. Whether you found it devastating, joyful, hilarious or downright terrifying, the burning of the Jesus statue off of Interstate 75 in Monroe left no opinion unheard. I myself feel very indifferent about it, for the most part. I will not lie that the sight of it seemed peculiar to me. Sinclair Community College and Miami University sign dual admissions agreement

Sinclair Community College has set up a dual admissions agreement with Miami University’s Regional campuses, to allow a smooth transition and lower costs for students who are interested in earning a bachelor of integrated studies (BIS), according to George Sehi, executive dean and professor at Sinclair’s Courseview campus. Englewood to hold concert

Englewood, Huber Heights and Preble County have teamed up to hold a free concert for Sinclair Community College students featuring country music recording artist Austin Hicks, according to Dawayne Kirkman, manager of Huber Heights and Englewood Learning Centers.
