Technology keeps engineering department current

Instructor gets classes involved in aiding Haiti

Mo Khani has taught geography at Sinclair Community College since 1997 and has always involved his classes in catastrophe relief. Since a series of earthquakes hit Haiti last month, Khani and his six geography classes have donated money to help Haitians get back on their feet. Students win Crime Stoppers award

During the day, Nicholas Toscani suits up as an average Sinclair Community College student. When classes finish, Toscani puts on a different uniform. “It’s weird because people always look at me and say I look familiar,” Toscani said.
