Sinclair baseball finally brought its bats to the ballpark On March 9, the Tartan Pride (5-4) routed the University of Cincinnati Clermont 18-8 at Grady’s Field in Xenia. The Pride are on a three-game win streak and have won four of their last five games. The night belonged to the Sinclair sluggers. On Hollywood’s largest stage, a man named Oscar reigns supreme. Alec Baldwin and Steve Martin host the 82nd Academy Awards on Sunday, March 7 on ABC. This marks the first year that the Academy increased its Best Picture nominations to 10 films. “Avatar,” which recently became the highest-grossing film of all-time, and “The Hurt Locker” led all nominations with nine, including Best Picture. A brief argument over the hilarity of “Christmas Vacation” got me to thinking: what are the best Christmas movies of my generation? I decided to put a top ten list together and post one movie per day until Thursday, Dec. 24. The only guideline for the list is the film must be released no earlier than 1980. 1.
