Bethpage Black makes any golfer shiver in their shorts and polos. A couple tidbits running through my mind today: — The U.S. Open tees off on Thursday at the famed Bethpage Black in New York. I played the intimidating “Black” course in 2006, shooting a lopsided 112. Kobe Bryant is on the verge of leading the Lakers to the NBA title. We get that you're good, Kobe. Calm down. With Los Angeles Lakers guard Kobe Bryant leading his team to an eventual NBA Championship, I wanted to create a starting five that I despise. I know I’m not the only one who dislikes Bryant. Commercial spaceflight promises to open space to everyone. On October 4, 2004, Spaceshipone became the first privately built vehicle in history to achieve the altitude of 62 miles twice in two weeks, winning the $10 million Ansari X-Prize for Spaceflight.
