Cells, driving don’t mix

While driving her blue Ford Focus on a drizzly February evening, a driver picked up her cell phone to answer a call. A few seconds into the conversation she felt the left wheel of her car knock against something. Several minutes later she grabbed her phone again to reply to a text message and felt something roll under the car. Seven calls and six texts later, she was finally done with her drive. New public speaking group forming

Zach Morris hopes tp bring a chapter of Toastmasters International to Sinclair. Toastmasters helps members develop better public speaking and leadership skills. Sinclair Community College students who love public speaking now have a place they can go to get their fix: the Sinclair chapter of Toastmasters International. Graphic design competition set for April 4

The 2009 Student Design Exhibition will be held from 2-6 on April 4 in the Sinclair Community College library. The exhibit will feature five categories: illustrative design, photographic design, black and white design, mixed media design and multi-media design. Prizes will be given to the top three entries in each category. One entry will also receive a best in show award. Sinclair student Christopher Moe organized the event. [Read more...]  Read More →
